BOB 2012 is supported by partners in Austria, Czech Republic, Hungary, Italy and Poland. Partners support BOB by raising awareness for the competition, organizing workshops and/or by providing coaches and evaluators. They also act as a regional/national point of contact for BOB:
BOB Partners - Austria
BOB`s partners in Austria are the AplusB centers. AplusB is a program of the Austrian Federal Ministry of Transport, Innovation and Technology (bmvit), run by the Austrian Research Promotion Agency (FFG) which provides its services in a very initial phase of the start-up process. Here it closes a financing gap that previously existed in the Austrian start-up environment.
- Carinthia: build! is since June 2002 the academic incubator of Carinthia. The goals of build! are on one hand the promotion of „self-employment“ as an interesting perspective for students and graduates in the region and on the other hand the promotion of innovative business ideas of graduates. Moreover build! wants to improve the infrastructure for start-ups in Carinthia.

- Lower Austria: accent Gründerservice GmbH supports academics who are aiming to set up their own company in Lower Austria. Our services cover the initial planning, the strategy and business plan development and the financial support. - Salzburg: BCCS (Business Creation Center Salzburg GmbH) is the academic incubator in the federal state of Salzburg, one of nine AplusB Centers in Austria. The objective of the BCCS is to fund the existing potential for innovation for academic company formations (spin-offs) in the federal state of Salzburg and therefore to stimulate and endorse the number and quality of successful spin-offs. Therefore BCCS offers infrastructure and office, professional counselling and coaching, expert monitoring and seminars, financial assistance and financial consulting and network with numerous partners and know-how.

- Styria: Science Park Graz (SPG) is the academic business incubator for innovative start-ups in Graz. Founded in July 2002 on initiative of the AplusB (Academia plus Business) programme, SPG aims to stimulate and endorse the number and quality of successful spin-offs in the styrian region. With a large network in the background the SPG-team supports academic graduates from all fields of knowledge who want to put their business ideas into practice by starting up a company. The incubator programme includes coaching, training, infrastructure and financial support.

- Tyrol: CAST (Center for Academic Spin-offs Tyrol) is the business start-up center of the universities, technical colleges and non-academic research institutes of Tyrol. CAST’s main task is to stimulate technology-oriented business start-ups from the above facilities, providing intensive consultancy, coaching and backing along the way. CAST optimizes the commercial exploitation of university research results with advice on industrial property right (patents, licenses) and the networking of all initiatives, which promote the transfer of technology from the academic environment to the world of business. - Upper Austria: Tech2b, as the Upper Austrian innovation and partnership network for research-based and technology-orientated business concepts and business foundations, helps people to realize their ideas. The center accompanies university graduates from high-tech disciplines during the initial stage of founding a business, and supports them with a unique starting package of comprehensive one-stop services, such as advice, financing, infrastructure and network. Up to now, tech2b has achieved 40 successful business projects, more than 27 successful business foundations with more than 200 employees, more than 30 patents and more than 15 million Euros in capital made available to the benefit of the participating companies.

- Vienna: INiTS has been providing advice and support for entrepreneurs with innovative ideas since 2002. Our services are aimed at graduates, employees and students at universities and universities of applied sciences (Fachhochschulen) in Vienna who want to put their business ideas into practice by starting up a company. The focus of our organization is on innovations in the fields of information and communication technology, life sciences and other areas of research and technology. INiTS was founded as part of the AplusB program (Academia plus Business) and as the AplusB centre for the Vienna region.

BOB Partner - Czech Republic
- The South Moravian Innovation Centre (JIC) supports innovative entrepreneurship in the South Moravian region. The centre operates a specialized biotechnology incubator and two technology incubators, to reduce the risk for start-ups and to assist them achieving a level to self-dependently engage in commercial-economic activities and compete on the market. The services of the centre are based on five key pillars: finances, consultancy, contacts, premises and promotion.

- The Hungarian Biotechnology Association was established by Hungary's leading life sciences companies in 2003. The main objective of the organization is to create an alliance that unites the voices and interests of companies, researchers, academic institutions and related organizations to provide them with shared services, advocacy, and help in the field of life sciences.

- The Life Science Cluster Krakow is made up of like-minded companies and organisations in the Krakow area dedicated to bringing the best bio-business services and products to a global market. BOB Partner - Italy
- The CBM Cluster in Biomedicine is the managing body of the regional cluster in biomedicine, founded in 2004 in Friuli Venezia Giulia. It offers high qualitiy services in different research areas, spanning from genomics and bioinformatics, to optical imaging and advanced microscopy.
CBM is also actively involved in research collaborations within the framework of european and national projects, as well as project managment an grant writing support.

- Slovenian Technology Agency is an independent public agency responsible for the enhancement of technology development and innovation in the Republic of Slovenia.
